Years of Commercial Fire Alarm Sales Experience, with an emphasis on Parts & Smarts Sales to Electrical Contractors Knowledge of NJ Building Codes / NFPA 72 / NEC.
NICET Certification (Level II or Higher) is Preferred.
One of the oldest and most well-respected life safety systems and electronic security companies in New Jersey is seeking an experienced commercial sales professional.
Responsibilities Include:
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Keep up to date with current codes and standards and be able to apply them.
Build new relationships and identify the prospects' need for our products and services.
Develop methods to secure new clients.
Develop and maintain sales materials.
Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.
Prepare necessary proposals, paperwork and contracts as outlined by management.
Education, training,
Experience:
The typical experience for candidates should be between 5-10 years in end-user sales of commercial fire alarm systems, as well as parts and smarts sales to electrical contractors.
NICET certification is preferred and desired.
Knowledge of various industry brands, including:
Honeywell Gamewell-FCI, DMP, Fire-Lite, Notifier, Siemens, EST, Simplex, Silent Knight, etc.
is important.
Job applicants must have a professional appearance and be well-spoken in the English language.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
