Responsibilities:
- Maintain and balance the general ledger, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries - Prepare monthly financial statements and reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow - Assist with year-end audits and corporate tax filings - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations - Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide support as needed Skills:
- Experience in general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in payroll taxes processing and other related tax requirements - Ability to create budgets and analyze financial data - Knowledge of corporate accounting processes and procedures - Experience using Quickbooks or similar accounting software - Understanding of financial concepts such as depreciation, accruals, and amortization - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail and ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
