We are looking for IIS Administrator for our client in Englewood Cliffs, NJ
JOB TITLE: IIS Administrator
JOB LOCATION: Englewood Cliffs, NJ
TERM: 6 Months Contract to Hire
JOB
Responsibilities:
Installation and configuration of IIS 6.0, 7.5 and 8.0 versions.
Remote administration of IIS on Windows 2003/2008 servers.
Troubleshooting all types of server and web site related issues in the IIS platform.
Backup and Restore of IIS configurations.
Editing the IIS Configuration files.
SSL certificate installation, configuration and management for the hosted websites in IIS.
Configure and Manage IIS plugin and manage load balancing.
Performance tuning, troubleshooting of complex issues in Production environment.
Coordination and implementation of production releases.
Liaison to Infra teams like OS, Network, Onsite/Offshore support teams etc. for incident resolution.
Follow Quick escalation procedure per application as mentioned in the Runbooks and SOP.
Skills:
Experience with IIS 6.0, 7.5 and preferably 8.0 on Windows environment.
Excellent understanding of installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of IIS servers on versions 6.0 and 7.5.
Good working knowledge in Windows 2003/2008 and preferably 2012 OS environments.
Experience in ticketing tools like HP PPMC and Production monitoring tools like HP M360. Oracle EM and http analyzer tools.
Good understanding of load balancing using F5, Site minder and DNS.
Experience in resolving complex issues in production environment, Performance tuning.
Experience in developing scripts for automation efforts.
Good business understanding, Networking skills and Application work flows.
Experience managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
Conducts research and documents findings and recommendations by using analytical problem solving.
Ability to focus on complex tasks and to understand interaction of this technology area with other parts of the infrastructure
Technically competent person for the technology in a particular area
Customer focus to ensure quality and timely responses
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong & effective communication skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
