Summary:
The
position
supports North America Overheads planning and analysis functions as well as certain cash management and control functions.
Duties and
Responsibilities: Overheads Planning and Analysis responsibilities include:
Overheads Business Partnering with North America Customer Development/Sales Department.
Supporting the financial close process.
Set budgets targets, issue budget performance statements, analyze variances and identify opportunities to mitigate risks.
Provide detailed reporting of costs, especially in travel, and work with cost owners to manage budget at a more granular (and more controllable) level.
Perform deep-dive of costs with other business partners to provide ad-hoc analysis of spend
Forecast costs and calculate appropriate amount for accruals.
Challenges:
Effective business partnering - Building trust of the business partners, developing budgets and presenting overheads spend analysis, forecasts and insights to senior leaders in US and Canada CD department.
Time management - Time sensitive reports, anlaysis and presentation decks are dealts efficiently and timely.
Quality - Attention to quality and detail to ensure SCOA and IFRS compliance as well as achievement of targets.
Key Requirements:
Education - Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience - 3+years.
Knowledge of SAP and MSBI is a plus.
