Sr. Compensation Analyst

Our client is looking to hire a Sr. Compensation Analyst. You will be responsible for overall administration of compensation programs.
Previous variable pay plan experience preferred, including sales incentive and corporate bonus plans. You will
be asked to consistently seek innovative plan designs and increase efficiencies of compensation
plans. Strong analytical skills and high competency in the use of Microsoft Office products

Position Description:
The Senior Compensation Analyst will be responsible but not limited to the following:
o Sales incentive plan analysis, administration, calculation, and communications. Capable
of initial plan designs.
o Administration, analysis, and maintenance of company's bonus plans.
o Salary planning, budgeting, and forecasting - maintain, analyze, and report company pay
data. Increase pay program efficiency. Maintain and update organization's salary range
structure and administer base salary plans. Influence pay philosophy.
o Market Pricing - extensive use of salary survey data to maintain benchmarks and provide
competitive analysis, resources, and tools.
o Evaluate positions and develop competitive salary ranges. Formulate new hire salary
offers and provide compensation-related tools. Job evaluation includes using Mercer's
Internal Position Evaluation (IPE) system.
o Deliver annual compensation programs including salary planning, salary survey
submission, and market pricing processes.
o Partner with other HR team members locally, regionally, and globally on special projects.
o Contribute as key member in the delivery of company's Global Total Rewards program.
o Assist with job descriptions as necessary.

o A minimum of 5+ years in a compensation function.
o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
o Strong MS Office skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Access
o Strong knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations, including

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
