Associate Manager, Demand Planning

LG Electronics is seeking a Demand Planning, Associate Manager to join the Demand Planning team. The main responsibilities is to provide assistance to the Demand Planning side of the MC operation division. The person in this role will be responsible for ooverseeing demand for US Mobile Market, handling sales projection, inventory management, and manage purchase, sales, and iinventory for MC business.
Demand related
Analyze forcasted demand, inventory, and channel to develop and manage daily, weekly and quarterly supply plans.
Analyze product order, and backlog on a daily basis. Identify problem areas, and drive appropriate functional groups to correct.
Cooperate and join Collaboration, Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) activities with Customer & KAM team (Knowledge of CPFR process with special focus on forecasting)
Analyze demand and backlog data in conjunction with customers credit ratings and funding, distribution flexibility, channel directions
Gathers and disseminates information to internal and external customer needed to make decisions
Act as the single point of contact for communicating operational issues and solutions to assigned accounts
Purchase related
Minimizing finished goods and raw material liability. Evaluate risks, plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate.
Managing product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete material
Coordinate closely with HQ product planning to ensure supply plans support customer's request while maintaining appropriateinventory levels
Present product status updates on a weekly basis to supply planning team in HQ
Improve product allocation and planning processes.
Inventory related
Monitor and analyze inventory and sales data and make informed decisions and commitments as a result
Identify aged inventory and minimizing them by,
Cooperate with Account team for sales plan & support any activities required
Coordinate with HQ supply planning group to minimize aged inventory level
Support all the liquidation process and follow up any required activities
Management support
Working with senior leaders and functional experts to understand account business problems and processes
Prepare and coordinate weekly S&OP; Meeting and reports
Prepare all the reports that required
Operational support
Manage & update the systems & Analyzing the data
GDMI (Demand Management System)
GSCP (Supply Chain Planning System)
G-Plantodia (Moving Plan / Business Planning System)
Develop and implement strategic account plans with agreed upon service level agreements
Identify account process improvement opportunities and present them to senior management with recommendations and alternatives
Expanding the role of Account Managers throughout the account and the business by consistently demonstrating a high quality of work output
Facilitate and lead business strategy discussions and vision brainstorming
Bachelor Degree required
3-5 years' experience preferred
Bilingual (Korean/English) is required
Excellent conceptual and analytical problem solving skills
Passion for problem solving
Excellent communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Highly proficient in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to meet deadlines with short lead times

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
