Senior Supply Planner
The primary purpose of this position is development of the supply plan and execution of the production plan, as well as, provide input for annual estimate financial plan volumes and updates for the internal operating plans.
The position acts as a focal point of brand execution of sales and marketing initiatives. The position objective is to manage the inventory planning and, production planning, with the goal of lowering inventory cost and improving customer service. The key metrics are 1) Customer Service 2) Minimizing Waste 3) Finished Goods and RPW inventory management.
Key Duties &
Responsibilities:
Execute the supply planning process of inventory planning, production planning, Key interface between Manufacturing facilities, Demand Planning, and Logistics. Prepare capacity constrained supply plan using SAP APO. Manage non-innovation projects that are within the brand, in addition to supporting innovation led projects Lead Run Strategy teams. Identify future customer service risk and work with cross-functional teams to quantify and reduce impact to customer.Lead special projects and best practice sharing among teams
Key Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering or other related field with 4 - 8 years supply chain, logistics, planning/manufacturing, operations or scheduling experience. Experience with SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimizer ) & ECC preferred. APICS a plus.
