Job Summary
As member of the R&D; Consumer technical Insight group will be responsible for researching proposals, research design and analysis insights and recommendations. . Responsible for project managements, claims and mentoring, in collaborative cross functional environment
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Possesses working knowledge of sensory sciences including the use of quantitative methods such as HUTs, CLTs, difference testing and descriptive analysis. Possesses sound, basic appreciation of advanced testing including pref mapping and modeling and when to apply.Working knowledge of data analyses and interpretation.Basic Appreciation of the design of a Holistic Consumer understanding plan for innovation projects. Able to independently design quantitative consumer testing.Is able to analyses and interpret data with guidance on final conclusions. Provides Insights as opposed to data.Understand how to translate CTI information into technical targets against which products can be designed (performance & attributes) developed and measured. Basic Appreciation of qualitative methods with some applied usage of focus group and 1:1.
For Claims Possess sound basic knowledge of technical measurements and research methods and are able to analyze and interpret technical and sensory data. Able to independently design a claims substantiation strategy with a collection of methods. Extracting competitive advantage from data capture, reporting and competitive analysis Generates claims applying category and business knowledge. Use the full range of tools for creative claims development and drives integration with marketing to contribute to the advertising development process and product development.
Project management Basic Appreciation of Project Management Principles as pertains to use of IPM, people World.Ensures bias for action to initiate project work. Ensure understands business priorities so as not to delay generating test data. Under guidance, executes portions of projects that vary in level of complexity. Basic appreciation of the roles which functional areas play in the overall product development process. Basic Appreciation of senior stakeholder management .Plans, implements and evaluates research plan following UL global guidelines and within project budget.
Ensures comprehensive understanding of purpose of testing, documented procedures, purpose, data interpretation of res conclusion and insights. Independently executes projects with minimum complexity .Independently executes projects with minimum complexit and under minimal supervision, executes projects with moderate to high complexity. Ability to manage relationship with suppliers after established. Working knowledge of the roles the local functional areas play in the overall product development process. Able to identify research needs, brief and manage research partners and lead discussions.
Communications Expresses thoughts in a clear and concise manner. Prepares routine technical and research reports. Participates in meetings with technical personnel offering suggestions and ideas. Must possess the ability to present information to R&D; audience/project team. Communicates test timing and raises issues proactively. Participate in and effectively conducts meetings with R&D;, Marketing and CMI .Independently represent CTI at meetings with R&D;, Marketing and CMI. .Independently able to construct comprehensive reports and presentations including recommendations. Negotiates timelines and deliverables with project team
Interpersonal Develops and maintain good working relationships with immediate team, customers and key stakeholders. Adheres to the principles of business conduct and diversity inclusion. Demonstrates willingness to actively participate in a team environment. Must demonstrate flexibility and open-mindedness to achieve overall departmental and business targets and objectives. Bachelors or higher degree with minimum 2
