Technical Production Supervisor. CNBC

Responsibilities Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:  Maintain technical quality of the broadcast; Technical liaison of assigned show- manage & solve any problem or concern of a technical nature from editorial staff, director, crew or management Interface & work with the transmission department to coordinate, communicate & facilitate remote locations to ensure technical quality and readiness for air Ensure efficient utilization of company resources within a fast paced, rapidly changing environment Work with other NBC entities, outside broadcasters and vendors to identify & secure required resources Assist in the strategic planning process for the development of short & long term departmental as well as company goals Coordinate with other NBC entities including NBC News, NBC News channel, MSNBC and broadcast and cable affiliates for best practice initiatives Serve as control room technical point person for remote show productions Qualifications/Requirements o Bachelor's degree in communications or related field o 5 years' work experience in technical operations within a live television environment o Excellent working knowledge of various transmission options and a strong understanding of control room operations o Proven ability to remain focused & multi-task in the fast paced, high pressure live television environment o Able to make quick decisions and problem solve to ultimately support live programming o Customer-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills o Strong organizational skills o Able to work all shifts as required Desired Characteristics o Familiarity or experience with NBC/CNBC o Proficient in all office programs-Word, Excel, Power Point, etc., as well as a working knowledge of programs such as Newsbrowse, Order Management System, ScheduAll and INews 44692BR

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
